However, slight variations in handmade or artisan holders and candle bases can occasionally cause a loose or tight fit. If a candle sits loosely, a small piece of adhesive putty at the base will hold it securely. The glass Ruffles holders are designed for tea lights or small pillar candles rather than tapers.
