Frequently Asked Questions

What sizes of taper candles do you carry?

We stock taper candles in four lengths: 30 cm, 32 cm, 40 cm, and 42 cm. The range includes slim tapers and standard tapers, plus metallic finishes in gold, silver, and champagne. All our tapers are designed to fit standard candle holders and candlesticks.

Are your taper candles smokeless and dripless?

Yes. Our taper candles are made from soy or soya-based wax, a natural material that burns cleanly with minimal smoke and dripping when used correctly. For the best results, trim the wick to about 5mm before each use and keep the candle away from draughts, which can cause uneven burning.

Do you sell birthday candles and number candles?

Yes. We carry gold birthday number candles (digits 0 through 9) as well as slim birthday candle packs in a range of colours and metallic finishes. The slim candles come in packs of 16 and are a popular finishing touch for birthday cakes and celebration desserts. Browse the collection to see available colours and styles.

Can I use candles at event venues in Dubai?

Many venues in Dubai have fire safety regulations that restrict or prohibit open flames. Some venues do not allow live candles at all, while others require candles to be placed inside glass tubes or hurricane holders for fire protection. We recommend checking with your venue before planning your candle setup. For storage, keep candles in a cool, air-conditioned space away from direct sunlight to prevent warping in warm climates. Taper candles should be stored flat to maintain their shape.

What is the difference between your soy wax and paraffin wax candles?

Our taper candles are made from soy or soya wax, a plant-based material that burns cleanly and slowly. Some of our birthday and decorative candles use a blend of paraffin and other waxes for better colour saturation and shape retention. Soy wax is a renewable resource with a lower soot output, while paraffin blends can hold more vivid colours and intricate designs. Both types are safe for indoor use when burned responsibly.
